NEXAA is a not-for-profit professional and educational organization dedicated to the growth and development of the field of intermodal expressive arts in the Netherlands.
Intermodal Expressive Arts embraces the connection and interplay of the various arts modalities, including: All forms of visual art; Movement, dance, & somatics; Voice, rhythm, sound, & music; Drama, storytelling, & enactment; All forms of creative/expressive writing including poetry, prose, scriptwriting & bibliotherapy.
The philosophy is rooted in the ground of anthropology, psychology, & the philosophy of how the arts function in the human experience.

Hosting various symposia, seminars, & conferences for bringing together EXA experts, practitioners, & potential students for collaboration, research, support, training, & sharing of methods, experiences, & data.
